If you will recall, not very long ago I asked for some drink suggestions for a little contest. Thanks to all those of you who have sent suggestions like Deena, Mother Hen, K, Dalton's Mom (ohh- Dalton's mom- what kind of beer?? I'm dying to drink know!) and any one else I've forgotten on my road to drinkdom. I'm still open for any and all suggestions and voting will be open until the 30th of June.
There is a REAL prize involved here- and it's purdy spiffy if I do say so myself!
To note: Last week Jef and I tried the cranberry margarita (thanks Mother Hen!!!). Tonite sounds like a Lazy P Gimlet kind of nite.

What's a gimlet? Is it anything like a giblet? Do you eat it or drink it? Do I HAVE to eat it? I don't WANT to eat it.

Lemme know what you think! I believe Dalton's Mom was referring to Modelo, I asked her about that the other night because she never mentioned the NAME. Sorry to speak for her! (Oh, there is also Negro Modelo if you are really brave)

Honey Elderflower Daiquiri
What: A bittersweet summer concoction of St-Germain, Mount Gay rum, honey water, and lime.
Its ridiculously good. Kinda dangerously good.
Oh yall should try a cosmo!
1 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz Rose's® lime juice
1/2 oz cranberry juice
Shake vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice vigorously in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass, garnish with a lime wedge on the rim, and serve.
Of course this is one drink, double, triple or whatever for however many you are going to make!
Oh I forgot about this contest! I am lame and don't have anything to add.... Oh other than... have you tried those orange dreamsicle drinks you make in the blender? Those are yummy. I think they are TGI Friday's labels...
BB: I'm game for anything with Mount Gay in the ingredients.
MM: Maybe we will need a chemistry night soon. Something must smoke or it won't be worth it though.
