My boobs were my tools of the trade for almost 20 months.

Once my youngest daughter weaned herself from the Magical Boob Juice, the fun really began!

(And by fun we all know I mean chaos!)

Pull up a chair, sit a while, read a few pages.

Keep and open mind and a joyful heart and you too can get pumped into the world of The Milk Maid.

Critters

Jef and I recently had a discussion on getting another dog.

"No more weenie dogs for us!" we both proclaimed. Something bigger. Something more substantial. Something a lot scarier! Haha- that would be pretty much any dog larger than a doxie, right?

We also agreed to fence the backyard before getting another dog. If Perspective Puppy ("PP") will potty train and not pee on the couch like Buster, then PP will most definitely be a house dog. But taking into account the breed we are considering (I'll keep this a surprise for now) it will most definitely need room to romp and play.

I am in the process of contacting breeders to make sure my due diligence is complete. A good friend of mine owns a dog and puppy manners center, so that part is lined up too. I actually found the perfect breeder with the perfect pups with perfect everything included- even basic obedience and crate training before leaving her home... but no litters are expected until mid-2008. And being such a patient person as I am... stop laughing, I really am patient!... that's just a little longer than I'd hoped to wait. SIGH!

(Maybe call all my posts of the following nature my "dog food fund" from now on!):

With all that said and done, I would like to mention that I fixed the other toilet yesterday with no muss and no fuss! Go me! I am for hire for all your plumbing needs- and I work cheep, usually a good meal I don't have to cook will suffice as payment.

Oh, and back to the topic of dogs... what kind of dogs does everyone out there have (breed wise). Did you go thru a breeder, the pound, a rescue organization?? Feel free to leave a nice long message here all about your pups~ :D

Honey is a Lab..and she's a pedigreed beeyotch. You'll never find a better dog than a Lab. The puppy stage lasts about 2 years, and you'll have to be patient...but man is it worth it. Mouse is a rescue, and is a lab mix. He's actually a better dog than Honey. Biscuit..well, Biscuit is some type of Boxer mix and is crazy. I don't trust her with children, or other dogs. The moral of the story? Get a Lab!

We had 2 black labs, loved them! When we moved 3 years ago we found them new homes, as our yard is now the size of a postage stamp. We now have a pug. cute, but annoying. He is about to be rehomed to Ca. with my pal Ginger. her hubby has always wanted a pug.

Oh I could write for days about my dogs. We have four and everyone thinks we are crazy. But, they are all well groomed, mannered and all house broken. They are awesome around children and people, other than getting a little excited when company comes over. We have 2 labs, black and chocolate, a schipperke, and a mix of a austrailian shepherd. They all have very different personalities and all of them are like children to us. I don't know what I would do without any of them and don't want to find out any time soon at all. They are my babies and I would do anything in the world for them. The labs are very easy to train, the schipperke was a bit stubborn to train but is smart as a tack, the aust shephard is protective, but wouldn't hurt a flea. I could take up more space and time, but I guess I need to stop at some point. Email me if you want to chat... I love to talk about dogs!!!!!

If we could get the biggest dog out there, without the hassle of moving to different countries every 3 years and cleaning up horse poop, I would soooo go for a St. Bernard. Man those dogs look so cool!! But, yeah that will never happen. So..if we were to get a dog...in about 10 years or more I would like a yorkie. I wasnt a fan of them until a friend of mine got one. I love her! I get to dogsit her tomorrow at my house so we will see how it goes with her. Nick hates small dogs, but I think he *might* be comming around. We do both agree on Labs though. Ok, enough ramble jamble from me.

Like Marcy, I truly LOVE my Dogs..they are Family and I could also write for days about them. I have pomeranians....2 are from incredible bredders and one is from when I did pomeranian rescue and I kept her for myself. Check out my Boos on my page.:)

We got our dog from an animal shelter. He's a mut...I can't remember what he is. But, we love him to pieces. It's such an amazing feeling to bring home a dog from a shelter....we know they need homes and they are so loveable. Okay, probably any dogs are. :)

Sadie came from the Humane Society and she is a Welsh Corgi mix, possibly mixed with beagle. She is a very good dog, house broken, doesn't chew but is a working dog (they herd sheep in England I think) and gets bored very easy. I love her to death though.
